nACo is an optimal layer for turning, both for

- the stable cut as well for

- the interrupted cut

- primarily for dry and minimally lubricated machining

As alternative for nACO, nACOX can be used for turning. It is specially successful against CVD coatings at dry turning with high temperatures.
